10 best australian gold lotion for faces

Australian Gold is a well-known brand that produces a wide range of tanning and skincare products, including lotions specifically designed for the face. Australian Gold lotions for the face are popular among individuals looking to achieve a sun-kissed complexion while also providing essential skincare benefits. Here's what you should know about Australian Gold face lotions:

  1. Tanning and Sunscreen: Australian Gold face lotions often combine tanning capabilities with sunscreen protection. They typically contain bronzers or tanning accelerators that help to develop a natural-looking tan on your face while shielding your skin from harmful UV rays.

  2. SPF Protection: These lotions typically come with SPF (Sun Protection Factor) ratings to safeguard your skin from the sun's ultraviolet (UV) radiation. The SPF level may vary among different products, so it's essential to choose one that suits your skin type and the level of sun exposure you expect.

  3. Moisturization: Australian Gold face lotions often include moisturizing ingredients to keep your skin hydrated and prevent it from drying out while tanning.Hydrated skin is more likely to tan evenly and maintain a healthy appearance.

  4. Anti-Aging Ingredients: Some Australian Gold face lotions may also incorporate anti-aging ingredients such as antioxidants and vitamins. These ingredients can help combat the effects of UV radiation and free radicals, which can contribute to premature skin aging.

  5. Fragrance: Many Australian Gold products have a pleasant tropical fragrance that is associated with the brand's signature scent. This can add to the overall experience of using the lotion.

  6. Application: These lotions are typically easy to apply and are designed for use on the face and neck. They are formulated to be lightweight and non-greasy, ensuring that they do not clog pores or cause breakouts.

  7. Bronzing Technology: Some Australian Gold face lotions feature advanced bronzing technology that provides an immediate sun-kissed glow to your skin while the longer-lasting tan develops.

  8. Skin Types: Australian Gold offers a range of products to cater to different skin types and tanning preferences. Whether you have fair skin and need a higher SPF or you want an intensifying bronzer for a deeper tan, there are options available.

  9. Usage Tips: It's important to follow the usage instructions provided on the product packaging for the best results. This typically involves applying the lotion evenly to your face before sun exposure and reapplying as needed for continued sun protection and tanning.

  10. Availability: Australian Gold face lotions can be found in many beauty and skincare stores, as well as online retailers. They are often available in various sizes to suit your needs.

Before using any tanning product, including Australian Gold face lotions, it's crucial to perform a patch test to ensure you do not have any adverse reactions. Additionally, remember that while tanning products can provide a sun-kissed look, it's essential to take sun safety seriously and use sunscreen as recommended to protect your skin from harmful UV rays.

User questions & answers

Question: Does this go on easy, not too thick on your face
Answer: I actually enjoy using this sunscreen. It feels very comforting to your skin, especially if your skin is already very sensitive or irritated from something else - sunburn, glycolic acids, Retin-A usage, etc. I do find that at night, it takes a double cleanse and a washcloth to remove all of the color from your face. It is waterproof for up to i0 mins...
Question: Does it dry your skin? I have very dry skin
Answer: I’ve been using it for about a year and never noticed it was drying until I read these reviews and then noticed that it may be a tiny bit drying but this is without using a moisturizer so I will try adding moisturizer to my face. I just ordered the darker tint and I really like it. I’m very pale, mainly because I always use sunscreen, and I hate using foundation so I love this tinted sunscreen. I’m 60 and I have normal skin.
Question: Are there any chemicals in this sunscreen or is it 100% natural
Answer: Even water is a "chemical," dihydrogen monoxide. Chemical does not mean bad or good, natural or unnatural. Each ingredient in every cosmetic product or food you will ever experience is a chemical. I think the better way to go about this inquiry is to ask if any artificial or synthetic ingredients are in the formula, and it is very rare to find any cosmetic without some of these. Even if the original source of an ingredient was a botanical source, it often takes artificial chemical processes to isolate or convert the substance into the final material, which is added to the cosmetic formula. It is virtually impossible to to make a completely "natural product" without some synthetic chemical manipulation of raw materials, even if you do not use artificially created ingredients.
Question: What color is the tint
Answer: I would caution that the tint is too dark if you wear porcelain/super light foundations. I can’t wear most drugstore foundations because I am too pale. I wear the lightest IT Cosmetics shade, shade 1N2 in Estee Lauder (the neutral shade of the palest color), etc. I can only wear this sunscreen when I am also wearing sunless tanner. Then, I can wear it alone with some bronzer on top, or my favorite foundation mixed with liquid bronzer. I absolutely love this foundation, but it isn’t for the palest or most fair among us.

What is SPF

SPF stands for Sun Protection Factor. It is a measure used worldwide to indicate the level of sunscreen protection. Using an SPF 15 sunscreen means it will take 15 times longer for skin to begin to burn than it would without sunscreen.

Broad Spectrum UVA/UVB

There are two types of ultraviolet (UV) light that can harm your skin- UVA and UVB. A Broad Spectrum sunscreen protects you from both. UVB rays are primarily responsible for causing sunburn while UVA rays are associated with skin aging.

Sunscreen Application

The recommended amount of sunscreen for the average person is 1 Fl Oz. A simple way to remember how much sunscreen to apply is imagine the amount of sunscreen that would fit in a shot glass or the size of a golf ball. Sunscreen should be applied 15 minutes before sun exposure and reapplied every 2 hours or immediately after swimming, sweating or drying off.

Traditional vs Mineral Sunscreens

There are two general types of sunscreen - traditional and mineral. Traditional sunscreens work by absorbing the sun's rays while mineral sunscreens protect skin by blocking the sun's rays. Whichever type you choose, make sure it provides Broad Spectrum UVA/UVB protection.

User questions & answers

Question: Is this the original flavor and not the new lime flavor? I just ordered some, but a review says this is not what the picture says
Answer: These shoes have a great support to help your feet. I had plantar fasciitis and bone Spurs and this is the only shoes I wear to support my feet. These shoes are definitely worth wearing.
Question: Is this really a pack of 4? some say yes some say no
Answer: No this is a 36 Women's Medium, I have a little bit of a wider foot and these were wide enough for me. Sincerely Jennie
Question: Is this fact stick only Mineral base suncreen? Because, I can't use any of the chemical sunblockers
Answer: I wear a 9 Wide, and the 40 Wide in this style works well for me. Probably a size 37 W for you, or if your feet are really wide, a 38 W. Better to have these a little big, so your heels don't hang off the backs. But I suggest you try the 37 W first. Good luck! Hope you love them as much as I do! Colleen
Question: Can you put make up over the face guard sunscreen stick
Answer: I am a women’s 12. Order the 44. It fits perfect

User questions & answers

Question: Does this one streak or is it orange and can u use it on your face
Answer: I, personally, wouldn’t use it on my face due to the fact that it is not specifically designed for facial skin. I have a medium skin tone and it did not turn orange or streak on me. Once I was out, however, I did not reorder, mainly because I wasn’t completely in love with the tanned look it gave me. It was not as natural as other products I have used before.
Question: How long does it take for tanning from applcation
Answer: A day or two. I usually apply twice a week once I get the tan level I want. Depends on how dark you want your tan to look.
Question: Can I use this product in a tanning bed
Answer: I’m not positive about this, but I don’t think you can use this product in a tanning bed. It is strictly a self tanner and not to be used with continuous heat or sun.At least that’s what the bottle says.
Question: Does it stain cloths
Answer: It's not stained any of my clothes; I allow some extra time for drying before getting dressed.
