Question:	Has anyone noticed a big change in forehead wrinkles? This would be the main reason I would use this

They do not personally test on animals, but they sell products in countries like China that require testing on animals and as such cannot be considered cruelty-free by organizations like Peta or Leaping Bunny. Answer:	I'm in this same age range and in the AM I start with the CeraVe hydrating facial cleanser, then apply their vitamin c serum, or hyaluronic acid serum. I finish with the CeraVe moisturizing cream in the tub on my face and neck. In the PM I use the same cleanser followed by their retinol serum (3-4 times per week only), then the same moisturizer. If you want a lighter moisturizer, use the PM nighttime lotion. So far this routine is working very well for my skin. I was using high end products that had fragrance in them which over time I developed a sensitivity to and ultimately turned my face red and extremely dry. CeraVe saved my skin. Hope this helps. :)

Answer:	Two percentages of Hyaluronic acid have been posted as an answer here. 0.5% and 1%. 1 and 2 are the norm. I've never seen .5% and getting this info is like pulling teeth from all manufacturers. One wrote and told me their product contained 99%. That's literally impossible so I figured it's 99% water, hopefully, and 1% Hyal. Acid. Someone posted this contains alcohol. That really dries out the skin. I hope they are wrong and they mean water. You're trying increase moisture in your skin - alcohol is counter productive.

Answer:	For those questioning the rooster combs: these are only used when the hyaluronic is made into an injectable. Therefor, if you are getting collagen or any other filler, injected by a doctor, they do in fact use animal by products. However, topical hyaluronic acid is manufactured in a lab, using bacteria, which can be classified as plant based or animal based. Because it is certified vegan, it is commonly stating that it is plant based. Currently, the FDA does not certify anything vegan or vegetarian. It is left to the supplier. However, as someone licensed in the science of skin and skin care, my professional history has shown me that many companies are very stringent on their guidelines, knowing that they are under heavy scrutiny by using those labels. If a company is putting the label on their skincare line, they are 'more than likely' not using any animal by products. However, the only ones to hold them accountable for their labeling are animal rights groups and the consumer. One issue with hyaluronic acid coming from the combs of roosters-poultry of any kind is not classified as an animal according to the FDA. Therefor, any poultry used for any product is not protected under animal rights. With all of that being said, I own a day spa that is classified as Green. We are holistic in realm and only use the best, animal cruelty, vegan, and paraben free products. This brand is the one we have used for seven years and will continue to use. Vitamin E was written in lay-man terms (very far into the ingredient list), but L-AA, MAP, or SAP weren't listed (not that the latter two have clinically proven results anyway). If you are reading this look into another product. Vitamin C should be one for the first 3 ingredients in order for it to actually be of any value, ingredients are listed in the percentage they are used. P.S. if the boasted ingredient is ever listed 5th on an ingredient list, the likelihood that the content could be anywhere close to 20% is negligible. In order for an ingredient to be 20% and listed 5th all ingredients would have to have a content percentage tie.

Answer:	Ingredients may have changed in the 3 years since this was answered. My bottle includes the ingredient "alcohol" which actually prevented it from getting through customs when I traveled to the middle east. Strange that the type of alcohol isn't specified.

Answer:	Your eyes are the thinnest area of skin on the body. Look for a retinol eye cream, but don’t apply pure retinol, especially 2% to the eyes. The bottle should say avoid eye area. Look for an anti aging eye cream or a brightening eye cream .

Answer:	I don't see where it says it's 2% retinol 🤔 Are people making that assumption because it says it's 98% organic? There are possibly other ingredients that make up that 2%. If say it could be .2% or maybe a little higher but not 2%. It's wayyyyy too inexpensive to be 2% retinol compared to other brands that are 2% retinol. I would just think about it before purchasing.

I've never seen .5% and getting this info is like pulling teeth from all manufacturers. One wrote and told me their product contained 99%. That's literally impossible so I figured it's 99% water, hopefully, and 1% Hyal. Acid. Someone posted this contains alcohol. That really dries out the skin. I hope they are wrong and they mean water. You're trying increase moisture in your skin - alcohol is counter productive.

Therefor, if you are getting collagen or any other filler, injected by a doctor, they do in fact use animal by products. However, topical hyaluronic acid is manufactured in a lab, using bacteria, which can be classified as plant based or animal based. Because it is certified vegan, it is commonly stating that it is plant based. Currently, the FDA does not certify anything vegan or vegetarian. It is left to the supplier. However, as someone licensed in the science of skin and skin care, my professional history has shown me that many companies are very stringent on their guidelines, knowing that they are under heavy scrutiny by using those labels. If a company is putting the label on their skincare line, they are 'more than likely' not using any animal by products. However, the only ones to hold them accountable for their labeling are animal rights groups and the consumer. One issue with hyaluronic acid coming from the combs of roosters-poultry of any kind is not classified as an animal according to the FDA. Therefor, any poultry used for any product is not protected under animal rights. With all of that being said, I own a day spa that is classified as Green. We are holistic in realm and only use the best, animal cruelty, vegan, and paraben free products. This brand is the one we have used for seven years and will continue to use.
