Question:	When the instructions say "Apply to the skin area, smooth side down," do they mean the sticky side or the side with the charcole
Answer:	They mean the side that was stuck to the plastic! That side is smoother and shinier. Make sure your skin is pretty wet before you apply it, I would advise steaming it with a hot towel to open up your pores. It won't stick as well if there isn't enough water.
Question:	do you think this will work for one stubborn blackhead on my shoulder
Answer:	I honestly don't think it's that strong if you're saying it's stubborn. I mean it does work and you see all the white heads when you lift it but it doesn't take it all completely. I would look for the Black Head Biore one.

Answer:	I am not sure if they remove fine hairs, I would say "maybe". I do know I have used these now several times and if I had to guess, they only remove about 30% of what is there. Afterwards, you can still see many remaining 'heads, and I just remove them all myself by squeezing techniques. I guess it depends on the individual person, skin type, etc. But they only work very slightly for me.

Answer:	I have very sensitive skin, so usually even taking off a bandaid hurts, but the biore strips seem to come off pretty easy and with no pain at all. :) if it does seem to hurt a little, dab just a tiny bit of water on the strip with your finger and it comes right off. Hope this helps! :)

Answer:	While it cleanses, it provides some drawing. Best to go with a clay product for maximum drawing of impurities recommendation is Aztec Secret Indian Deep Pore Cleansing Healing Clay

Answer:	No little particles. Neutrogena has a great face wash with little particles to clean pores and exfoliate. It has grapefruit in it. It's my favorite so far. This charcoal cleanser is okay-just probably not good for people with sensitive skin or open pores. It's not a foam-just gel. I think the charcoal soaked into my pores and that's what the blackheads were.
Question:	How can I travel with it
Answer:	FROM TRAVEL EXPERIENCE: Either transfer liquid from Biore bottle to a store bought bottle with a cap that can snap shut OR the cheap way is to put a sandwich bag over the top and secure it with a rubber band or ponytail.

Answer:	Yes! I bought this at another retailer to give it a shot and was amazed at how well it worked. I have always had an issue with blackheads on my nose and the only success I ever had with clearing them up was with a Biore strip. However, after the FIRST night of using this cleanser, I'd say about 95% of the blackheads on my nose had disappeared. I'm really shocked that this cleanser is getting such negative reviews on here because it's been a great product for me so far.

Answer:	These strips do not give me a headache and I am very sensitive to strong fragrances.

Answer:	It contains alcohol denatured (dissolves surface oil), isopropyl alcohol and plain alcohol. These types of simple alcohols are antiseptic, but they should not be alone. This is not a hydrating toner but an astringent targeted to ppl with oily skin prone to acne. However it does contain glycerin which is a humectant which means its moisturizing and retains water. It has no intense scent just some from the hamamelis (witch hazel). The witch hazel is there to balance out the alcohols and provide moisture. I personally use this once a day (i find it quite hydrating but if used alone ur skin may go from dry to oily during the day). I use it along with a hydrating toner (like Thayers witch hazel) and my skin has no issues,no acne anymore.

Question:	How does this compare to deep pore charcoal cleanser
Answer:	This prduct and tha charcoal cleanser seem to give a similar result. However, the charcoal is not recommended for daily use. In fact, whe I first used it, it caused a very mild sting on my skin but I don't feel that anymore. Bottom line is that they give me similar results, smooth and clean feel.
Question:	Is this biore pore scrub the same as the old green version? Does it have the "icy tingling" sensation like the old version
Answer:	I have only used this one product, but it does have an icy sensation. I don't recall my face tingling though. It does however leave my face feeling cool and very clean and soft.
Question:	Does this product help with blackheads? Especially on the nose
Answer:	I bought this product for that exact purpose. I think it does help, but not with the first use. If you use it regularly, I do think you will notice an improvement. Good luck!

Answer:	Oh man lol 😂 They seem pretty gentle to me. As long as he doesn’t have sensitive skin. They do set up pretty stiff which is good but sometimes your skin might get a little dry or red there but overall this product works great, I’ve bought them twice and actually saw blackheads on the strip! Answer:	The strip itself is dry. When you place it on your nose directions state make sure the area is sufficiently wet. When you peel off the clear covering and place the strip on your nose it sticks to your nose. After 10 or 15 minutes Slowly peel it off. It works. Did you follow the directions???

Is this very effective at removing blackheads

Answer:

I just got mine today but years ago when biore had a warming cleanser (that I think was the same thing, just pkgd differently), that was the only time in my life I've used a cleanser religiously and yes it helped with blackheads for that reason. I actually used it every day because it felt so good. I think I'll get the same results with this. It only stays warm for a few seconds but it feels so good!!!! Hope it helps.

Answer:	These are amazing foremost! I have used several different brands my whole life and these are by far my favorite. They have lasted me forever. Anyway, you just take the strip out of the package, wet your nose, and stick the strip on your nose. The strip has an adhesive side that make it easy to stick. Then, you wait 15 minutes or so until the strip is completely dry and hard and then you gently pull the strip off your nose. When you pull it off you will see all the blackheads and dirt the strip pulled out.
