Answer:	Yeah it definitely will be, I have pretty dry skin and using the mask alone would definitely dry out my skin pretty bad, so I tone my face with Witch Hazel Toner and use a hydrating moisturizer right after. So if you incorporate the mask in with your normal regime you should be good!

Answer:	No it did not; but it is possible that you may have left it on too long. Once it dries, wash it off with cold or warm water. I've been using this dead sea facial mask for 3 years, and the only time I had an issue with my face turning red was when I left it on too long time, which I never did again. If, however, you have sensitive skin, you may want to just do your chin, let it dry, then wash it off with cold water, and see what happens; if it turns red, then its possible your skin is too sensitive for the mask.
