Wash your face with a mild cleanser so that your pores open up and superficial dirt is removed. Be sure to use warm water so that your pores will open up completely. If you want to skip the wash, you can also just use steam or a warm washcloth to prepare your face. Dry your face when finished.

I was skeptical that I'd be able to peel it off easily, but it was actually very easy to get off! I love the way it dried and didn't crack if I moved my face. It wasn't terribly messy, either! And, the very few places with leftover mask wiped RIGHT off! I started by washing my face and using a warm cloth for 5 minutes to open my pores. I applied the mask to a clean, dry face. It probably took every bit of 20 minutes or more to dry, but, once dry it wasn't messy at all. It stayed in place well and didn't crack. Peeled off great! Of course it hurt in places, but that's to be expected. Definitely avoid the underside of your nose, LOL. It peelednall in one piece and got some of my pores super cleaned out. The residue wiped off easily with a cloth and water. My face felt awesome after. I followed up with some witch hazel and moisturizer and felt so amazing. I'll definitely get it again!

You can also put your toner on afterwards if you want the fastest exfoliation. If you haven't used a chemical exfoliator in a while, I'd start slowly, every other day. This one is particularly strong. This is NOT a cleanser and should not be washed off. It is also NOT a scrub; it does not contain any abrasive ingredients like walnuts shells or sugars. Answer:	You use the "1" pad and then wait 2 minutes and then use the "2" pad. You do not wash it off. You can put your moisturizer on and make up as usual. I like using the pads in the evening before bed. That way if there is any redness (as my face sometimes gets) it is gone by morning. I did not see any peeling until about 5/6 days into it and then my face was tight and dry/flaky for about 5/6 days. After that I think your skin adjusts itself to the peel because I no longer have any flaking or dryness. Just smooth skin.
