Answer:	Yes, you need to apply according to directions. After first and second application you will see/ feel some drying of the skin and itchiness. Then maybe some slight peeling of the skin... After 5 applications I believe you'll start seeing results. But skin results vary.

Answer:	I have brown skin; I do not know if this product works as I had stopped after a few applications. It burned but stuck to it based on other reviews; after two applications, the skin started peeling and drying. After a few more, it got worst and fine fines started appearing probably from the drying. I stopped and immediately got on Hyaluronic Acid cream to reverse the fine lines. I am not saying don’t use, try it if you want. It might work for you or others. I’m saying, this product didn’t work for me.

Answer:	I have those on my face too. I've been using this serum for over a month now, and I don't see any changes to my skin. Those dark brown hyperpigmentation and the melasma remain the same color. I am not sure if I will continue to use it. I also didn't get any redness, peeling , or any skin irritation as described from the product. I would not recommend this serum.

Answer:	We highly recommend that you start with a spot test for the hydroquinone, this is a very potent serum and it works like an acid peel, so you may experience some stinging at first. We recommend that you keep using the serum even if you experience this, but if your skin is too sensitive to the hydroquinone you can try using it once daily or every other day instead of twice daily. Be sure to apply the Brightening Serum lightly with a cotton swab, and only to the dark spots. You should wait until the serum has fully dries to use any other skincare products. Once you have found how often you can handle the hydroquinone you should add the retinol in at night and watch your skin closely, as the combination is super effective and can be a bit too much at first, especially if you haven't used retinol products in the last. If you have irritation at that point you can use the retinol every other day, rather than daily. Once you have found how often you can regularly use the Brightening Serum and Retinoid Cream, you should continue using both until your dark spot has lightened. After that, you should discontinue the Brightening Serum and use only the Retinoid Cream.
