Answer:	I have cystic acne and a combination of this and benzoyl peroxide wash had cleared me up. Body shop also has a tea tree lotion that works well to prevent future breakouts. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I don't know if it's gluten free... but I would not recommend this product. It got in my eye and I ended up in the hospital getting a saline flush and losing my eyesight for 2 days while my cornea healed. I wrote to the manufacturer and they blew me off.

It smells very good and I like it, but prefer Clarins one step gentle exfoliating cleanser with orange extract. Quite a bit more expensive tho. For that reason I started off with the Seaweed cleanser
