| Answer: | If you add ice to the bottom of the tray then add water and set it to cool, it wouldn’t necessarily “mist” per say, but it certainly keep it a lot cooler, than without ice & or water. If the water runs low or out, it will automatically shut down. I’ve found it best so far to use distilled water. (From the gallon jugs) haven’t tested regular tap water. Have two of them and they work wonders. I keep one in the den and it’s approximately 450-500 sq ft, stay very comfy and cooled down. Especially in our 100 degree weather. Hope this helps, but I’d like to add, it’s worth every penny I promise you won’t regret it. ; ) |
