Answer:	Yes, I believe so since my hair is thin and frizzy/curly and it works very well for me.

Answer:	I have never known it to. This shampoo is basically the equivalent to an at home apple cider vinegar baking soda rinse to get buildup out of the from use of products to style the hair. What I love about this is you get the exact same results, but it also helps open the shaft of the hair follicle to promote healthy hair growth. I use it on my locs and they look so much better afterwards. They also make a hair masque that you can leave on for about 15 minutes the rinse out before using the leave in conditioner.
