Question:	Can you use this in a sugar scrub recipe
Answer:	It really depends on your recipe. Yes, you absolutely can use this. It's similar to olive oil in how it behaves in that kind of recipe. Mixing this with sugar (or salt) will result in something very nice, no different than the oil-based scrubs with olive oil you find in the stores, except without the stuff you don't want in there. You could also use unrefined coconut oil, the kind you find in the grocery store that is solid at room temperature. Except that your screen name indicates you might live in the South, where coconut oil may be liquid at room temp because it's hot lol. That will create a creamier product, but one that is relatively unstable due to the fact that the oil can melt and re-solidify, causing the salt or sugar to clump at the bottom. If you want a creamy product, look to using whipped cocoa, shea, or mango butter, combined with fractionated coconut, argan, or jojoba, and of course your salt or sugar. Or finely-ground coffee... hmmmm...

Question:	How is this applied in hair? Overnight? 2 hours before washing? I have dry highlighted hair
Answer:	After washing and conditioning, apply a few drops to hands and run through damp hair. After blow drying, leaves my fine graying hair shiny without a greasy look or feel. For longer hair, I believe I would apply it to the damaged areas a little more liberally than the root area, but in small amounts spread more evenly. My hair is only a few inches long.

It may take several treatments especially if you are now experiencing cold weather as I am. The indoor heat really drys my skin out. I use this on my face primarily. It's been working very well.
Question:	What's the trick to opening the pump? I see arrow on top. I turned and turned
Answer:	I didn't have a problem with mine, but try holding the base of the pump and turning. Sometimes I get bottles that have more trouble than others. (If you have one of those rubber grip pads for opening cans, it helps the base to be less slippery.) Good luck!

If you have a high dilution ratio you have a high chance at damaging your skin cells! I make my own skin tonics to combat aging, stretch Mark's, eczema etc and have talked to a fair number of chemists, NDs, auromatherapists etc about this to figure out how to safely mix oils to achieve the maximum benefits from these oils. Start off with a sum total of 3 drops of essential oil and 10ml of carrier oil to achieve the 1-2% dilution ratio. At an 11% dilution ratio you will (more than likely) achieve cell toxicity just fyi. Look into the company "Edens Garden" for essential oil advice. They have amazing reps!
