This past weekend, I stayed in and did not wear shoes at all. I really noticed it when I put my shoes on this morning. I could FEEL the support and think my arches did drop a little over the weekend. I was diagnosed with plantar faciitis early in the summer, and it would have ruined my life but for two things: 1) rolling a golf ball from the heel to the ball of my foot for an hour per night. That got rid of the problem. 2) Walkfit Platinum orthotics. That has kept the problem away. I had also tried some more expensive inserts ($40/pr) but they were too squishy. Answer:	We have changed manufactures on the filters somewhat recently. The charcoal filters will appear to be more thin but they are a better filter than the previous. They have more charcoal that covers a larger surface area and they are now made of fibers instead of foam which allows a better air flow.
