Answer:	Do not take this as a scientific opinion, but I used to live in a place with hard water and the soap scum problem with this product was terrible. Now I live in a place with soft water and this product never leaves scum. I think water hardness may play a role.

Answer:	My oldest dog is 9 1/2 yrs. I mix the dry with the honest kitchen dehydrated after it is reconstituted. That way he gets some soft and some crunchy

Answer:	Yes, the clusters are hard. We soak them with regular honest kitchen food prior to feeding our old girl that has few teeth. The clusters take a while to soak up the water. Our girl also gets ziwipeak dehydrated food. It has very thin square chips the size of my pinky finger nail. A great treat.
