Answer:	I think it is real leather (I have 2 pairs of these boots), if not it is an extremely good imitation.

Answer:	This boot comes with a wide toe box. I usually wear 4e in New Balance shoes and wear the wide width Merrill Moabs. I specifically went to a retailer for my first pair and the 10 regular fit my 10-4e foot like a glove (with a medium weight hiking sock). I ordered a second pair through Amazon and they fit the same.
