Answer:	I have used both and have pros and cons for each of them. This one was nice because it didnt hold onto the water as much as the lotus but it was NOT easy to clean and ripped easily making it trash. The lotus was harder to wring the water out of but was easier to clean and could be thrown in the dryer. The whale fit in my sink better than the lotus.

Answer:	I do not see why they would not work. But I am using the bulbs in conventional outlets.

Answer:	These lights turn on and off on their own. I have them on my porch and they are wonderful! I don't know if they work with motion sensor or a timer. Once you leave your switch to the on position, you are using electricity, but the fact that they are LED, they use much less. I have noticed my electric bill is smaller once I changed all of my bulbs to LED. Good luck!

Answer:	Purchased 4. I attempted to use my extension pole to screw 2 bulbs in for the front porch. They are too wide in the pole grip, so I grabbed my step ladder to screw in by hand. They do not light when I flipped the switch. Some of these comments made me go back to loosen. That did not work. These 2 bulbs do not work.

Answer:	These have the "grips" on the feet. They are not completely non slip. My son can walk in them but will occasionally slip on the laminate floors too.
