Answer:	Just replace the 20W incandescent bulb and you can have it as bright as you want it. It uses a standard E12 candelabra base bulb which is super easy to replace. Go to home depot, get an LED replacement bulb in a "daylight" color range. Remove the two tiny screws on the sides, open the mirror, replace the bulb with a 60W or 75W equivalent bulb (which runs at 10-12 watts) and voila...light galore! Bonus! New LED bulbs will last a decade or more...mirror will be passe before the bulb goes bad. By the time the bulb burns out, robots will be doing your makeup for you.

Answer:	I don’t use it in the shower, but I suppose you could as long as you suction it to a very dry surface. The section on it is very strong. Based on what msab suggested, I went to my mirror and placed my face close to the mirror then slowly moved it further away. Indeed, at a certain distance my face went upside down! So, her suggestion to use the mirror for close up work only is correct. The only other thing I can think of as an issue is perhaps you purchased a mirror with too strong of magnification. I have very strong reading glasses. Perhaps a 10X mirror would work for you.

Answer:	It will stick very well and stay until you remove it. I stuck one on a bathroom mirror when I was traveling for over a week and it stayed solidly adhered the entire time. I honestly expected it to fall at some point (and even put a towel under it just in case) but it never moved even slightly.

INSTRUCTIONS

Prior to mounting, clean surface with soap and water. Any dust or grime will prevent proper contact with the suction cup.

Your mirror uses a powerful locking suction cup. Make sure that the suction lock is not already engaged by twisting it counter-clockwise. Press the suction lock against the surface and activate the locking mechanism by twisting clockwise. Adding a little bit of moisture will also help to create a stronger suction.

Answer:	I ordered one of these for the exact same reason. There is foam inside. Not sure what kind. As for the thickness... NOT NEAR ENOUGH is the only measurement that matters. To get my money's worth out of this product I have cut the suction cups off the lower half and then I fold it to double the cushion on my rear end.
