Answer:	Yes, When you essentially "cut" or trim or shave the hair you are creating a blunt edge. When that edge is exposed at the skin's surface it is not actually thicker, it has the illusion of being thicker because of that blunt edge. When you "tweeze" or wax or pull the hair from the root the hair grows back entirely which makes it have more of a pointed edge which has the illusion of being thinner or pointed rather than a blunt edge that was cut. But with this device the hairs are cut so you are getting a blunt edge which will make your hair appear thicker when grown back which leads you to constant use of the product.

Answer:	I have only used it for facial hair, but I understand that it can be used on other body parts. It's very strong, so I leave it on my face for two minutes or less. Answer:	I have no idea why they don't recommend it for the face. I've used it on my face plenty of times with no problems. I just monitor it often so I don't get a rash.
