Answer:	Yes, unfortunately it is about the same as using the blunt edge of a butter knife. There was one many years ago made by "Palmers" and it worked much better but for some reason it was discontinued. The best way to use this one is to soak your legs (or whatever area) in water as hot as you can stand it to completely open your pores, pat dry (don't rub) and then immediately apply your cream depilatory while the bathroom is still steamy. Then when you use the tool, the hair will be pulled from under the surface rather than right on top (so it prevents the bristly feeling you can sometimes get when you rub your hands over your legs about a day or so later). Afterwards, make sure to oil your skin down (to prevent dryness and flakiness) with something like coconut oil, Shea butter, almond oil, jojoba oil or something like that.
