Answer:	Assuming you mean can you put the oil on your face and shave with a straight razor, no reason that would not work.

Answer:	No, you add the oil to wet hands and then rub it on the skin you will be shaving and shave. It only takes like 3 drops and you'll be skeptical it will work, but I shaved with it yesterday on my legs and three drops did my leg and gave me a great shave. Prior to shave cream and soap, oil was what the world used to shave with they also used it to bathe but that's another issue. It works really well for me even in my bikini area. If I do that extensive a shave I do it in sections, lower leg and then upper leg and use 3 drops per area but I'm sure a lot don't need to do that.

Answer:	No. However, the scent is really light and crisp. I really like it.
Question:	is an after shave balm needed after using this creme, since shea butter and aloe are included in the ingredients? I don't want "over kill
Answer:	Of course you should use both a splash to disinfect and then a balm to protect. I use Stirling shaving soap because you really don’t need anyaftershave products for soft, hydrated skin if you face lather with Stirling and a good brush. But why would you skip those steps? A splash with just enough alcohol to disinfect, and herbal extracts to feed the skin (my favorites are Speick and Proraso Green) followed by a dab of good balm (my personal favorite is Duke Cannon Ice but I also really like Myrsol Emulsion) is just being kind to the skin you just dragged a sharp piece of metal across. You don’t have to do it. But my skin loves it. Just make sure not to use too much, and to cleanse that skin before you shave. You want to remove residue, oil and bacteria buildup that’s normally on your skin so you minimize chances for infection from shaving. Since you carefully cleansed your skin’s natural oil before shaving, you should put back what you can after. The products I use are inexpensive, long lasting and perform well. Good software is more important than the razor you use (as long as it’s sharp).

Answer:	You can (and I have) applied it with a brush, however, this is a non-lathering (foaming) shaving cream, it doesn't lather. It does do a great shave but, it just doesn't lather.
