Answer:	Hi! The blades are four around a center blade. Delicately, but firmly lift each of the four blades. I used my fingernails. After lifting the four blades, then apply a lite twist to the center blade. Use the lifting technique most comfortable to lift the center blade. Use water to clean blades or the brush. Good luck!

Answer:	I have no idea, but why would you ever let it go that long before re-charging? I have had mine for about 3 months, it came to me fully charged, I use it almost every other day, and it’s at 43% charged! The charge will last a VERY LONG TIME!
