Answer:	If you put your hand at the very top of the device around the blade and twist like it is a bottle cap this will twist off so that you can twist on the new attachment.

Answer:	I can fit this to remove nasal hair and I think it would fit for your ear canal also. I would recommend having someone else help you with it and to tilt your head down so you don't get the shaved hairs falling back into your ear canal. That would drive me crazy!

Answer:	There is no button, It's a sort of gray slide on the side of the bottom part, you slide up towards the notch on the top part. It might be hard to see because it's the same exact color as the rest of the trimmer. Good luck with this trimmer. Although it trims better than most of the others on the market, I found that after buying two, they don't work for too long. This last one stopped after less than three months. The answer wasn't changing the battery. After a few times, tapping on the side gently also stopped helping it to start. I've concluded that's it is just a money waster. Too bad, because it does trim really nicely.
Question:	is this good for the bikini area
Answer:	Yes. It is a trimmer, not a shaver--and a small, pen-style trimmer that is not as suited to removing large amounts of hair at once as some other styles--but the pivoting head makes it the best trimmer of this type for the bikini area (this is in reference to the grey version, NOT the blue or lighted one, which are both subpar). I would not expect to use it as my first or only hair removal method, but it's the best I've found for keeping in your purse and doing random touch-ups. (You could use it as your only trimmer if you really wanted; I have in a pinch--it just takes a lot longer than my trusty 2-AA-battery Panasonic.)

Answer:	I have used it for my nose and it works. It should also work on ears but i still use my electric trimmer for that as it is quicker.
