Braun does use a "cutting actions" calculation by multiplying the motor speed by the number of cutters (40,000 cutting actions for the Series 9, for example, because of its 4 cutters), so the new Series 7 by this math would have 30,000 "cutting actions," which really has no practical significance - cutting efficiency is represented by the reciprocating blades shearing the hair that pokes up through the foil or flat cutter, and is dependent on blade speed (10,000 cpm in Braun's case) and the sharpness of the blade. More cutters POTENTIALLY reduces the time required to shave - practically, not so much (because of a tremendous number of variables). Functionally, the Brauns work very well, if slightly noisier than Panasonics, and either will provide a close, comfortable shave and represent the top of the line foils.

Answer:	All the answers from Feb 2020 are now out of date. As of 8/23/2020, just search anywhere for "Braun 35B" and it will come up. Of course a company like Braun would never put out an orphaned product. I'm guessing there was a short-term supply problem back then? Watch out when shopping... there is more than one style cutter head for the series 5 Shavers. You need the type number which is only number that is unique to your shaver. I finally found it on my shaver under the cutter head. The front page of the manual shows Model 5762 for the one I got. Then manual also lists the 53B cutter head assembly. So keep your manual! You will also need it to reset the cutter replacement indicator. Amazon is only showing one. It is $31.72 but there is $11.26 shipping from the UK. Walmart has it on their website for $29.90 with free shipping.
