Question:	how do you clean it from build up
Answer:	Make sure your straightening brush is unplugged. Clean only when the brush is cool. Start by removing beard strands that are stuck in your brush. Once they are removed, wipe it with a soft fiber cloth. You should dampen the cloth in warm water if you see too much residue. Make sure to thoroughly clean the spaces between the bristles and the bristles themselves. Continue cleaning it until you’re satisfied with the result. Hope this helps

Question:	How is this for the thick, Afro type beards
Answer:	I’m not 100% sure, my husbands beard can be very wiry and very curly and has a mind of its own. It works great at 400 degrees for him. But a hair dryer and round brush did not. Since this goes to 450, it should be hot enough to work with all hair types. I would recommend it as I said, my husbands beard is a tough texture. Definitely use a beard oil and you can get a texture cream to use after for extra hold to keep the unruly hairs tamed. But start at the lowest heat and go up from there.
