| Answer: | You have to use a shave solution basically a concentrate. You cannot just put shaving cream in this machine!!! It's a mixture of 95% water to 5 to 10% shaving cream solution. It's going to look like milky water it will appear very thin but as it heats and when forced thru the pump it will produce a soft rich lather. I recommend coleman's or andis shave solution. Two caps fulls should be a good start and fine tune your preference from there. For the money this is the best true hot lather machine you will find. I shake mine before I turn it on in the morning just to stir the mixture up. DO NOT OVER DO IT ON THE SOLUTION it will ruin the machine and not produce a good lather. There should be mixture directive on the branded solution. |

| Answer: | I would stretch it with 50. You want to keep your machine cleaned and fresh. You should get about 150 pumps and a full shave takes at least 3 pumps. Proper shave requires lathering twice so......once prior to a hot towel then reapply to shave. I use a clipper brush to move the cream around and even it over the skin also allowing me to see thru better. |
