Answer:	I've been using this brand and this scent for a few years now and I have never once had this product come with any kind of grit. It's supposed to be a creamy whitish, a bit chalky to the touch and quite smooth. The only explanation I could imagine would be that this is sold by third parties that are buying seconds or very old batches. I assure you it is not supposed to have grit or bumps in it. I was going to order it on Amazon but after reading all these horrible reviews and seeing rashes that people are getting, I'll definitely buy it at my local store where I know it's not old or counterfeit.

Answer:	I didnt got any itch unlike those standard deosticks. But I got a minor skin reaction due to some ingredients and so, i have initiated a return. Overall, the smell of the pepper oil was more than sandalwood and I didnt really like it that way (just not my preference).
