Answer:	Traditional loofahs have more of a rougher texture and will lightly exfoliate. This brush is made of silicone and has very soft, long bristles. This brush will not exfoliate at all...regardless of what the description states. I returned mine because of this reason, it was just too soft. But, I was also looking for exfoliation. It’s a really well made product and worth the price if your looking for a very soft feel. This would be great for the bath, especially if you have a baby or little kids. If you’re looking for something other than a loofah for exfoliating, I highly recommend the Supracor (also sometimes called Stimulite) Bath Mitt.
