Answer:	I haven’t tried it in a hot tub but I use pretty warm water in the tub with it and bath salts plus the soaps, shampoo and conditioner. It comes with a bag for laundering it and they recommend weekly washing. I think it would be fine.

Answer:	The Anchors that come with the racks "Sucks". Extremely piss poor Cheap design. I threw them away as soon as I opened the box. Answer:	You certainly can use the brush in the shower but we don't recommend doing it on a regular basis. The natural materials will deteriorate over time when constantly made wet. Answer:	Hard, molded plastic is what the surface is made out of. I would agree that this massager itself is rough on the skin unless you use with soap, lotion or oil. I use mine daily in the shower with body wash and have no complaints. Hope this helps
