To wire it you connect the two hots to the inlet wires to the thermostat, and hook the two outlet wires to the wires running to a 240-volt heater. You can control a 240-volt heater with a single pole thermostat. However this is unsafe, as the heater will then constantly have 120-Volts potential to ground. Current code in most locations requires a two pole switch or thermostat to control 240-Volt heaters. If this is the least bit confusing hire an electrician to do the install.

Answer:	I looked online to see what pbt's are and I wasn't able to find anything suggesting they're harmful nor was I able to confirm definitely that GUM used pbt bristles. However I did find a difference in how nylon bristles increased firmness compared to pbt bristles. Nylon bristles increases the diameter of the bristle to increase the firmness to creat an intermediate, firm, or extra firm brush. Pbt bristles automatically stiffen in contact with water. Plus the arrangement of bristle tufts on the head of the brush lend support to increase the firmness. The takeaway being the thinner pbt bristle consistently pushes the paste between the teeth and into grooves in the teeth at all levels of firmness. I read that dentists complain that people brush 45 seconds and not the optimal 2 minutes and they only brush once a day when twice is optimal. This being said getting the best from any brushing attempts or time spent on oral hygiene using a toothbrush that pushes the paste between teeth suggests optimal results for the effort.When I tried the first GUM toothbrush. I immediately noticed the bristles pushed the toothpaste between my teeth and I was very surprised. After months of use, another surprise was a good dental checkup, and that REALLY surprised me. I've changed paste, mouth rinse, and floss, but I stick to GUM toothbrushes, at least for me, they seem to make a difference.If anyone is interested in reading the patent information I read about bristles comprised of synthetic thermoplastic polymeric compositions, the article is titled "Toothbrush with improved cleaning and abrasion efficiency" US 6138314A.
