Answer:	Children need to be able to swish and spit, so mouthwash for children is not recommended before the age of 6. Occasionally, younger children will be given medicinal mouthwash prescribed by a dentist. If you are on a municipal water supply, fluoride is already added to the water in levels determined to be safe by the EPA. Well water does not have Fluoride so you should consulate with your dentist or pediatrician or family physcian on the best way to make sure your child(ren) have the amount of fluoride they need to help prevent tooth decay.

Answer:	Unfortunately , the watertank has single hole in midway back with a removeable door flap. Run warm water thru the top spout to clean the pipes from top to bottom, remove watertank, then let water out thru hole and shake. Rinse off parts of the model. This model is harder to remove all water--and when you use it AM and PM, it is hard to evaporate thru little hole. However, you can insert a paper towel to catch the water as you shake it. This model is cheaper than the big wateropen tank. It does the job tho.

Answer:	It is indeed somewhat noisy, most probably due to the vibration; however, closing the bathroom door makes it quite a bit less so for others. I can easily hear a TV program as long as my husband has the door closed. It is extremely efficient so well worth it, in our opinion.

Answer:	Make sure you charge it fully before the first use which can take 24 - 48 hours. This will extend the life of the battery.
Question:	How do you know whether you should get an upper or lower guard
Answer:	I believe in the instructions it mentioned that out of the box it's in easy mode. That's the default. In the 1st 14 days it's supposed to gradually increase to the max power. To bypass the 14 days you press and hold the power button a few seconds. That's supposed to put you in max mode right away. I know the instructions also had a brief description how to go back to easy mode but I've just had mine on max since the beginning. You may have unknowingly put in max mode but it should be fairly easy to put back in easy mode.

Answer:	I've owned 4 Phillips sonic cares over my lifetime. My first two I left the brush in on the charger as a holder , & The battery didn't last as long as when I don't. . This electric toothbrush vibrates at a higher frequency and seems to be much better at whitening teeth when used with a whitening toothpaste. I would make sure you get a dual voltage model, 120-240 if you travel outside the US.

How Do I Achieve a Custom Fit?

Step 1: Add Heat

1. Fill coffee mug half full with tap water.
2. Microwave the water for 3 minutes. Let stand for 30 seconds. Remove the mug from microwave.
3. A slotted spoon: for placing and removing the M3 Naturals Mouth Guards from the hot water
4. Using a slotted spoon to keep hands away from hot water, immediately place your M3 Naturals Mouth Guards face down (grooved side down) in the hot water for 2 minutes.
5. After 2 minutes, use the slotted spoon to remove your M3 Naturals Mouth Guards from the hot water. Place it on a plate, sticky channel side up. Let cool ten seconds and proceed with fitting.

Step 2: The Fit

1. Using a mirror as a guide, center the M3 Naturals Mouth Guards in your mouth. Make sure your front teeth are slightly behind the front edge and bite down firmly. Sink your teeth as far into the soft material as possible. Try not to let the biting process push it forward.
2. With your teeth clenched, use your thumbs to firmly press the soft material sideways into and against the outside of your teeth all the way around your mouth. Pushing the material sideways into your teeth and not up and into the gums is important for a correct fit.
3. Open your mouth and use your thumbs to firmly press the soft material sideways into and against the inside of your teeth all the way around your mouth.
4. After the material has been pressed into the sides of the teeth, continue biting down firmly for at least 30 seconds.
5. If the length of the dental protector extends beyond your back molars, the dental protector can be trimmed with scissors.

You will know that you have successfully completed the fitting process if the M3 Naturals Mouth Guards stays on your upper teeth when your mouth is open.

*If you do not achieve a fit that stays locked in place, the product should be fit again with the same process.

Answer:	You only get 10 mouthguards for the 19.99 - 1 box. That "pack of 4" stipulation is definitely confusing! The directions say to wear the mouthguard for only 3 days but I get about a week depending on how much my life makes me GRIND MY TEETH! My dentist was going to charge me over $550 for one made for me, but I just can't figure out how I would make it clean enough after awhile, so these fit the bill for me, and it will be quite awhile before I amass $550 worth of these. Answer:	I generally use one for 2-3 weeks at a time and haven't noticed any issues doing so. I just use one until it feels worn out (they do get "softer" over time). I used to wear "daily" disposable contact lenses for a week or more as well without any problems. I could be wrong, but it seems to me these companies want you to go through their products quicker than necessary so they can sell more products.

Answer:	Its a soft, bendable plastic - non BPA.
Question:	Are you supposed to clean it with anything before using it after removing the bite from the package

Answer:	They're disposable because they can't be repaired for indefinite use. As to how to recycle them, I don't know what to tell you. Let's hope they're biodegradable.
Question:	Are these thin? Or a little thick
Answer:	They are a little thick probably about an 1/8th of an inch thick. I've had thinner ones, but they don't last long and were designed to be disposable. These last longer because they're a little thicker, but the thickness is still not too much for my little mouth. It still fits comfortably.
