Long answer, the term 1 inch bars is elusive, I think what are called one inch bars are 1 inch at the stem, but 7/8 inch diameter on the rest of the bar, and that is what I have this bell mounted on, it is at the low limit, meaning it will accomodate a larger diameter easily, as the metal bracket is completely closed, with lots of room on the screws for a larger bar. Anything less than 7/8 inch might mean adding another layer of rubber or something to allow it to tighten, such as a child's tricycle or small bike, but it looks to me like the thing would fit any bars I have seen on a full size bike.

Leaky tank valve, even the new WP-100s have a defective tank valve (it doesn't fall down when the tank is removed, therefore the tank dribbles when removed for refill. This problem remains even with new valve inserts (which i obtained from Waterpik's wonderful service). The fix, although slightly annoying, is to take the handle of your toothbrush and gently press down on the valve during the lift off process. You can then discontinue the toothbrush, and refill and reseat the tank, without dribbles occuring. Just grin and bear it. Also, you will need to purchase replacement angled wands because the tip will become junky and can't be cleaned.

Answer:	I haven’t noticed anything like that at all. After every time I brush my teeth, I take my hand towel (a little damp), and remove the toothbrush head, wipe that off, and I also I wipe off the handle itself as well as the metal bar at the very top that the toothbrush clicks on to. It may seem tedious, but it literally takes me less than 60 seconds and I do think it’s good practice and helps prevent any sort of build up/accumulation.

Then you flip up the lever, which pushes out a big thick rubber ring a bit, which you grab with your fingernails and pull out. Then you slide out a green part which sits behind the rubber ring. Both the green part and the rubber ring have to be independently rotated 180 degrees and put back in place. Then put down the lever and screw back on the ring shaped cap, then the pump head will fit presta valves. It sounds complicated but it's really not. For the thick rubber ring you have to put the narrow opening toward the front of the pump head to fit a presta valve. For the green part you have to put the end with the little spring facing out toward the front of the pump to fit a presta valve. I make this switch all the time because our bikes use some of both. It's a little fiddly, but at least it can work for both... Hope that helps.
