Answer:	NO. They may have changed the formula or another version in the Doll Eyes mascara line is tubing. But I just bought this at Ulta hoping for a tubing formula but it was just a regular mascara that I had to remove with eye makeup remover just like traditional mascaras. No similarity to Blinc tubing formula whatsoever unfortunately.

Answer:	I have purchased countless tubes of this mascara and 99% of them are completely dry upon opening. If not dry, I only get about 1 week’s use, applying just once a day! I called L’Oreal yesterday to complain and was given a refund. I’d rather they address their quality control as I love this mascara when it works and tubes are not dried out upon purchase!

Question:	Can this be used with masks
Answer:	Not if you wear your mask over your whole face. If you only wear a mask over your nose and mouth and only wear mascara on your eyes you should be ok unless your mask gets accidentally pushed up your face and over your eyes while your mascara is still wet then it might smudge a little bit and you could even get it in your eyes which totally stings. What’s worse is if you then pull your mask back down over your mouth, it could smudge down your whole face and you could then get it in your mouth and on your teeth. You can cover up most of it with the mask but all of the smudges on your upper nose, eyes and forehead will be visible. When it happens to me I just wear sunglasses which helps. So, yes it can, you just have to be careful.

Answer:	I wish it came in brown too. Sometimes black can appear to harsh and too contrasting from the color of my skin. I like the effect of dark full lashes but without it overpowering the overall makeup look!

Answer:	no it is not, but it doesn't smear at the littlest tears, so it does take a bit of water to make it smear, you'd have to have a real crying fit or wipe it off with water to get it to smear, otherwise it wears well, In all the times I've worn it, I haven't had it smear and I've slept in it. But I haven't cried with it on, but I have wiped it off with a wet cloth.

Answer:	I think it would work. I'm amazed at how well this color shows up (granted my lashes are dark brown and not black). You might just have to do a couple of layers for it to work. I highly recommend purchasing it if you want purple lashes!

Question:	Is NYX a high quality brand or do their products stink like that cheap makeup smell
Answer:	I love and use l'Oreal Voluminous mascara exclusively, but I have found that on me the Carbon Black does smudge. Using the primer helps, but I avoid this color. I haven't experienced smudging with any other color and right now am using brownish black. It's a nice daytime color. (the Carbon Black is a great color for dramatic nighttime use, and it may not smudge on you! Worth a try!).

Answer:	I have bought this many times . It is dark and not to much difference then the black one. I personally think the color is great.

Answer:	The difference is the type of pigment that is used. Traditional mascaras use different oxidation states of iron oxides (black, red, and yellow with the red and yellow being only used in the brown shade). In carbon black the black iron oxide pigment is replaced with a carbon compound that has a much deeper more obsidian appearance. Black iron oxides are naturally occurring minerals and vary on the shade their "blackness" where the carbon black is much more consistently deep black.
