Swirl around to get product. Then with a facial tissue, gently wipe excess. Apply. Wait at least a minute or so to let dry before second coat or use a short blast of hair dryer on gentle.

Answer:	I do not know if there is oil in this product. It is creamy, but hardens on your lashes. Works well I think. I use the dark purple which is a difficult color to find, but I like it because it provides a brightness to dark brown eyes rather than the harshness of pure black.

It does not run at all. Smooth application, defines lashes and lasts. I'm not sure why they call it 'washable' mascara. Yes, I'm able to take it off the same as any other mascara, with no more or less difficulty than any other mascara I've used. Anyway...I think it's great and the price on Amazon is far less than what I paid at my local Walgreen's. (BTW...sometimes I wonder how long the mascara I've purchased over the years has been sitting on the shelf. All of these products should be marked with the date it was manufactured.
