Answer:	Yes it's really black but I stopped getting this one because it was very clumpy and smeared easy. After many different kinds I finally got the loreal telescopic shocking extensions the blackest one and it's perfect it stays on no smearing and never clumps no matter how much I put on

Answer:	It does not. But what I do is I combine this with another mascara...Clump Crusher (NOT waterproof) by Covergirl. First I put on the white then right afterwards I put the black (of this Loreal one). Then right after that I put on the covergirl. That way I have lots of volume, long lashes, and because of the Loreal one, I have no flaking and it stays on all day!! Of course when you wash it off, you will still get raccoon eyes because of the other mascara. But that's what I do and I love it! I actually get compliments.

Answer:	I have used this mascara for years because the brush is curved rather than straight. It makes for an easier application. There is black and brown-black, so regardless of what they call the color, choose black or brown-black depending on your coloring. I have used both colors and there is actually very little difference in the look.

Answer:	Short Answer: not fully cruelty free because they sell in China. So no, it would not align with vegan beliefs. More Info:They claim “L'Oreal no longer tests any of its products or any of its ingredients on animals, anywhere in the world. Nor does L'Oreal delegate this task to others.” The company has made great strides over the years, even advocating for changes to international animal testing-However, they do sell their products in China where animal testing is mandatory for foreign cosmetics. While the Chinese government has relaxed some of the provisions of their animal testing requirements for cosmetics, it still requires that cosmetics companies pay for painful and deadly tests on animals in order to sell certain types of cosmetics. Answer:	You don't need an eyelash curler. The wand has lots of thick bristles and they hold the mascara well. It give your eyelashes lots of length and curl.

Answer:	This flakes on me, and covers too much with one swipe. I didn't care for it, but I prefer enhanced, but more natural looking lashes.

Answer:	This particular item is not waterproof however there is a waterproof version. The packaging and print on the mascara tube is blue instead of gold on the waterproof one. I've used it as well. Both are great products. The waterproof, as the name implies, is more difficult to remove so I use it only when I truly need waterproof, like weddings, funerals and swimming!

Question:	How do you bend the wand
Answer:	It does not. But what I do is I combine this with another mascara...Clump Crusher (NOT waterproof) by Covergirl. First I put on the white then right afterwards I put the black (of this Loreal one). Then right after that I put on the covergirl. That way I have lots of volume, long lashes, and because of the Loreal one, I have no flaking and it stays on all day!! Of course when you wash it off, you will still get raccoon eyes because of the other mascara. But that's what I do and I love it! I actually get compliments.
