Answer:	Not if you wear your mask over your whole face. If you only wear a mask over your nose and mouth and only wear mascara on your eyes you should be ok unless your mask gets accidentally pushed up your face and over your eyes while your mascara is still wet then it might smudge a little bit and you could even get it in your eyes which totally stings. What’s worse is if you then pull your mask back down over your mouth, it could smudge down your whole face and you could then get it in your mouth and on your teeth. You can cover up most of it with the mask but all of the smudges on your upper nose, eyes and forehead will be visible. When it happens to me I just wear sunglasses which helps. So, yes it can, you just have to be careful.

Answer:	I wish it came in brown too. Sometimes black can appear to harsh and too contrasting from the color of my skin. I like the effect of dark full lashes but without it overpowering the overall makeup look!

It Cosmetics 'Super Hero' wins the prize for thickest and longest looking lashes, but after a while I found it started flaking a bit and the formula started getting dry after a couple months. I know you're not supposed too keep it more than 3-4 months, but who tosses out $27 mascara when it's only 1/2 gone?! 6.5 of 10 stars Mally 'Lift & Curl' mascara is good at lengthening and making lashes look full, but I wish they made it in colors other than just black. I'd give it a 7 of 10 stars.

Answer:	I would NOT re-curl after applying, as the mascara dries and creates tubes around your lashes, and you risk flaking the mascara off. They usually tell you not to reapply after the initial coates have dried, and that is because it will cause clumping and flaking, and I know first hand because I have used tubing mascara in the past.

Answer:	I've not had a problem with smudging, but then, I try to limit my play under lawn sprinklers and I do my best to stay away from movies by Nicholas Sparks. :-P For normal day to day activities, I don't have smudging either. I do take the end of the wand over my lashes (which is something I've just learned to do) before doing it the normal way, so its certainly thick enough to smudge, but it doesn't. I do have longish lashes and when I use drug store make-up I have to put my fingers under my eyes when I sneeze anytime within 15 minutes of applying (My middle name is Allergies). I haven't had to do that with this. Good luck! Oh! Aaand - no matter how awesome I scrub my face before bed, I always wake up to a bit of leftover mascara under my eyes. It wipes away easy enough, but I guess that just speaks to its staying power. :)

Answer:	Yes it's really black but I stopped getting this one because it was very clumpy and smeared easy. After many different kinds I finally got the loreal telescopic shocking extensions the blackest one and it's perfect it stays on no smearing and never clumps no matter how much I put on

Answer:	I love and use l'Oreal Voluminous mascara exclusively, but I have found that on me the Carbon Black does smudge. Using the primer helps, but I avoid this color. I haven't experienced smudging with any other color and right now am using brownish black. It's a nice daytime color. (the Carbon Black is a great color for dramatic nighttime use, and it may not smudge on you! Worth a try!).
Question:	Has anyone used the black/brown color? Is it a deep brown color or lighter brown
Answer:	I have bought this many times . It is dark and not to much difference then the black one. I personally think the color is great.
Question:	what is the difference between "blackest black" and "carbon black
Answer:	The difference is the type of pigment that is used. Traditional mascaras use different oxidation states of iron oxides (black, red, and yellow with the red and yellow being only used in the brown shade). In carbon black the black iron oxide pigment is replaced with a carbon compound that has a much deeper more obsidian appearance. Black iron oxides are naturally occurring minerals and vary on the shade their "blackness" where the carbon black is much more consistently deep black.
