Answer:	Not if you wear your mask over your whole face. If you only wear a mask over your nose and mouth and only wear mascara on your eyes you should be ok unless your mask gets accidentally pushed up your face and over your eyes while your mascara is still wet then it might smudge a little bit and you could even get it in your eyes which totally stings. What’s worse is if you then pull your mask back down over your mouth, it could smudge down your whole face and you could then get it in your mouth and on your teeth. You can cover up most of it with the mask but all of the smudges on your upper nose, eyes and forehead will be visible. When it happens to me I just wear sunglasses which helps. So, yes it can, you just have to be careful.

Answer:	I wish it came in brown too. Sometimes black can appear to harsh and too contrasting from the color of my skin. I like the effect of dark full lashes but without it overpowering the overall makeup look!

Answer:	Yes it's really black but I stopped getting this one because it was very clumpy and smeared easy. After many different kinds I finally got the loreal telescopic shocking extensions the blackest one and it's perfect it stays on no smearing and never clumps no matter how much I put on

Answer:	I love and use l'Oreal Voluminous mascara exclusively, but I have found that on me the Carbon Black does smudge. Using the primer helps, but I avoid this color. I haven't experienced smudging with any other color and right now am using brownish black. It's a nice daytime color. (the Carbon Black is a great color for dramatic nighttime use, and it may not smudge on you! Worth a try!).

Answer:	I have bought this many times . It is dark and not to much difference then the black one. I personally think the color is great.

Answer:	The difference is the type of pigment that is used. Traditional mascaras use different oxidation states of iron oxides (black, red, and yellow with the red and yellow being only used in the brown shade). In carbon black the black iron oxide pigment is replaced with a carbon compound that has a much deeper more obsidian appearance. Black iron oxides are naturally occurring minerals and vary on the shade their "blackness" where the carbon black is much more consistently deep black.

Answer:	I don't find it to be flaky at all...maybe when it gets past the three month mark. I like that it doesn't make my lashes stiff. I usually use this product for weekends because it doesn't go on heavy (just Full 'n Soft!). Hope this helps!

Answer:	Yes, it does. I also find that it 'beads' up on the end. I'm not a big fan of this one. I do like Maybelline LashStiletto a lot. Keep a few q-tips in your bag for a quick clean up during the day. Moisten the Q-tip SLIGHTLY - you can remove the smudging. Also, try Exact Eyelights from Cover Girl but be careful that it's not the waterproof one. I LOVE that mascara. It's never smudged on me!

Answer:	Short Answer: not fully cruelty free because they sell in China. So no, it would not align with vegan beliefs. More Info:They claim “L'Oreal no longer tests any of its products or any of its ingredients on animals, anywhere in the world. Nor does L'Oreal delegate this task to others.” The company has made great strides over the years, even advocating for changes to international animal testing-However, they do sell their products in China where animal testing is mandatory for foreign cosmetics. While the Chinese government has relaxed some of the provisions of their animal testing requirements for cosmetics, it still requires that cosmetics companies pay for painful and deadly tests on animals in order to sell certain types of cosmetics. Although some of L’Oreal’s products currently being sold in China may no longer be subject to the requirements for tests on animals, L’Oreal admits that some of the products it sells there are required by law to be tested on animals. Answer:	This flakes on me, and covers too much with one swipe. I didn't care for it, but I prefer enhanced, but more natural looking lashes.

Answer:	This particular item is not waterproof however there is a waterproof version. The packaging and print on the mascara tube is blue instead of gold on the waterproof one. I've used it as well. Both are great products. The waterproof, as the name implies, is more difficult to remove so I use it only when I truly need waterproof, like weddings, funerals and swimming!

Answer:	Take a hot shower and then wash your face! It's actually really cool, you can GENTLY pull the "fake" lashes off and it looks like you've taken off for real false lashes. Again, HOT water, 10 minutes to let it soften the fiber, and then GENTLY rub your eyes with soap and let them come off. It's great, and lashes are ready the next day.
