Answer:	This is a twist up pencil you don’t need to use sharpener. If you want to give a pointy edge at the bottom of the pencil pull off plastic piece and sponge and you will find a sharpener. It’s not necessary to use

Answer:	Hi-just to provide some info, if it sold in mainland China, then it is certainly not cruelty-free and is required by Chinese law to be tested on animals. Now if it sold only online, then it does not have to undergo the animal testing, but that would be up to the company to submit itself for these requirements. Maybe the company can provide input as to whether it is only sold online in China or in actual stores. I watched the video and they didn't say whether they sold in Chinese stores or only online. I can appreciate if the ACTUAL ingredients are vegan/cruelty-free, however, anything sold in actual Chinese stores has to undergo animal testing so that would certainly not make it cruelty free.

Despite the plastic-coated appearance of the Eyeliner, it can be sharpened with a cosmetic sharpener. Our Expert Tools Dual Sharpener would be a great product to use! For best results, turn the pencil gently in the sharpener 3 or 4 times, being careful not to apply excess pressure. After sharpening, remove all shavings from the blade edge. Your sharpener should be replaced whenever the blade has dulled and is no longer giving the expected results. We hope this information helps!

Question:	How is this on the waterline
Answer:	About 4-6 hours. If you do just the lash line it lasts about 12 hours before it starts bleeding noticeably; but that also depends on the humidity and your activity level.

Answer:	The tip DOES NOT ADVANCE. Was not built to. You're supposed to be able to sharpen it, but I tried 3 different sharpeners with no luck. Contacted L'Oreal, and they refunded my money.

Answer:	I had the same problem. I loved how the product went on & stayed on, but it was a terrible mess to attempt sharpening it. I tried my 2-hole-size sharpener and neither size worked. The casing is so hard that I thought the blades would break; when I got through the casing the tip would break off. If I managed to get a tip sharpened, the outer casing edges were so jagged that they caught on my eye and hurt! After the third tedious cleaning of my clogged sharpener, I gave up. I don't have the time or energy to go through that every few days...

Answer:	Yes! They look like the kind that twist up, but they're not. They are easily sharpened. I have six colors and I love them.

Answer:	I have very oily lids, and also am almost 50 and do my lids crease in on themselves more. Every eyeliner I have used ends up transferring from my lash line to my upper eyelid in a messy way. This one doesn’t(or very minimally does). So right there it’s way better than any liner I’ve used. BUT- I tried to sharpen it with a standard liner sharpener and it really destroyed the tip. I’m not sure how to sharpen it any other way, and it’s a big pencil to only be able to use the tip that was exposed upon purchase.

Answer:	Almay is an American company, but some of its products may be manufactured in China, Germany, and the Czech Republic. Usually American companies follow American standards and guidelines in manufacturing their products overseas.

Answer:	I had no problem with it.
Question:	How is this oil free if it contains Vit E
Answer:	You could pull on the liner after you have twisted it up as far as it will go.
Question:	How do you get more liner to come out of the tube
Answer:	Yes, to a degree. My eyes water a lot, and so long as I don't rub them where the makeup is, the makeup stays put, and stays dark. If I do rub my eyes a lot, the makeup does wear off after a while, but never totally. It's really the best for someone like me, who has a hard time keeping makeup on.

Answer:	bought it early 2017 and still have it almost a yr and half later. For reference I use the brown for my brows mostly, and the black for my eyeliner. The brown gel is only a little under half way gone; the black is still MOSTLY full. And yes, the brown can stiffen up a bit but as the prev commenter said, throw a little oil in there and you're good. I still want to order more, not because I'm running out anytime soon, but just to have it whenever I finally need it again.
