Answer:	With a pencil sharpener. I would get a good one in the make up section. I tried to use a cheap one (like $1) and it didn't sharpen as well. But spent $3.99 on one and it works perfectly.

This is why I always always preferred silky liquids and a brush but the soft neutral non gloss colors I need are becoming almost impossible to find in the right consistency even though professional educated make-artists always suggest lighter tones for women over 50 and sometimes younger. I can't picture glazed toffee. I was really looking for a smokey taupe but I'm about to give up.

Answer:	Their waterproof liners work really great for waterline (black). But I purchased the blue one of these at the store it doesn’t say waterproof because it’s not. Answer:	The only seal that was on mine was the standard perforated plastic on the outside. If yours doesn't have any type of plastic seal, I would not take any chances and return it.

Answer:	I have the olive colored one and it works pretty well for me. I do notice that after a few hours that its starting to fade away on my water line. But it may work differently for you. Sorry if this doesn't help you at all.

Answer:	Hi, thanks for asking. No, this is a regular eyeliner pencil.

Answer:	I find that these NARS liners do indeed stay on the waterline on the top lid. That is the only waterline lid I use. I do however use the same color on my lower lids just below my lower lashes. On my lower lid, the staying power is much better if you use a tiny bit of NARS smudge proof eyeshadow base before applying the eyeliner. Otherwise, if you use any kind of eye cream, the liner will probably smudge.
Question:	Are they shimmery at all
Answer:	It is a shiny white I think. You can Google and see all the colors. I have blue eyes and like KHAO SAN ROAD, Metallic Aquamarine and Abby Road. A little with my usual black for a pop. It really lasts in any color. Avoid oily under eye cream to avoid a little smudge

Question:	What is the difference between the colors of "milk" and "cottage cheese
Answer:	Milk is very pigmented...it's an opaque bright stark white. It's great for highlighting the area under your brows. Cottage cheese is not as opaque and it's got a bit of shimmer...a little more sheer, it's a creamier, warmer pearly white, best for highlighting the inner corners of your eyes.
Question:	Is the milk a warmer or cooler white? Is it more cream or more blue-ish white tone
Answer:	What an excellent question! It looks to me to be cool to neutral. The name "Milk" is perfect for it, because it is the color of milk. It isn't blue at all, but it is cool. However, it works great of my warm toned, yellow based skin, so it is somewhat neutral. Something I should have mentioned before, it is not the kind of pencil that should be used if you want something white in your eye look. It's not that it isn't pigmented, it is, it just works much better as a base rather than something you'd wear on it's own. It does show up enough to be a highlight, but because I am very pale, the color gets a little lost on my skin. It will show up better on people with medium to dark skin tones. I hope this helps!
Question:	how do you get this to twist up?? does it come up at all
Answer:	It doesn't twist up, it sharpens. You have to use a jumbo sharpener from Nyx or some other sharpener with the larger and regular holes. Also, many people advocate for freezing the pencil for a few minutes before sharpening to keep it from smearing and smashing. Search Youtube for "how to sharpen a nyx jumbo eye pencil" and you should be good to go.

Answer:	I just got this in and highly disappointed that only the tip of the product is all you get. I assumed it was a swivel bottom.. I was wrong. That being said, I put it on my waterline as soon as I received it (about 930am) bc that’s why I bought it. And at midnight last night it was still there. I do not wear makeup daily as as SAHM, but I loved the quality of the this liner/crayon. So for me it’ll last a bit. For daily wearers, not long at all.

Answer:	yes, totally. Using it is easier with prior experience in applying eye liner, and I would recommend a pencil for beginners using eye liner. But the only reason for that is just that it's easy to accidentally apply too much on the lower lash line. Overall, however, it's really great. While a steady hand is always better for applying any eye liner, this gel liner is a lot more forgiving than, say, a liquid liner, so it's really great for making winged liner.

Answer:	Felt tip for sure although over time of wear it becomes very similar to a brush. I love this item I have been using since I was 18 years old. I am now 30, I highly recommend it for the best eye wing!

Answer:	Per the label on the packaging, the ingredients are: water, propylene glyocol, oleyl. alcohol, magnesium aluminum sulcate, stearic acid, xanthan gum, glycerly stearate, hectorite, cellulose, tromethamine acrylates/C10-30 ALKYLACRYLATE CROSSPOLYMER, CITRIC ACID, isopropelparaben, butylparaben and a note that it may contain a couple of other ingredients. Does that help? I don't know what any of this stuff is, except water and citric acid. I do know I've been using it for years with no problems.

Answer:	Am not sure if its waterproof but it definitely has a matte finish

Answer:	All eye makeup, in my opinion , should be used up by 3 months. It is a small bottle, so applying daily probably meets that time frame. I have never had a problem and don't keep tabs on it.Best stay on liner I have tried. I do use a primer under, most of the time.

Answer:	I've been using these for over ten years. I see no evidence of oil in the ingredient list. See the picture in the ad for list of ingredients.
