Answer:	Yes it had an auto shut off, most curling irons do. But I found out the hard way that it doesn't shut off when it overheats.

Answer:	It's shiny, but they're not made as well as they used to be. It looks the same, but Conair is cutting corners to keep this product the same price. Mine shorted out today and burned off a section of my hair. It literally melted and stuck to the barrel. The piece still on my head is frizzed and burnt. Answer:	No it doesn't come with a glove, but the handle and black tip stay cool. The clamp holds your hair. I have a pixie cut, and this is easy to use.
Question:	How hot does the wand get
Answer:	To clarify, Conair confirmed that they don't make the shiny silver solid chrome models anymore. If you're upset about this like I am, give them a call to let them know that you want the old chrome models back again - 1-800-326-6247 .

Step 1: Section

Section your hair horizontally. You will section your hair this way three times – bottom first, then a middle section and finally the top. Styling your hair in sections will help the final look appear more natural.

Step 2: Wave

On each section, wrap 1″ sections of hair around the Tousled Waves tapered barrel, leaving the ends off the iron. Alternate the direction in which you wrap the hair around the wand for a more tousled look. For a more relaxed wave, make sure your iron is set on a lower heat setting.

Step 3: Shake & Rake

Answer:	Make sure your hair has no tangles and grab small portions of your hair to curl. Don't put the product too close to your roots, have it I would say like 2 or 3 inches away.

Answer:	The hair curler will begin to heat up in 5s after selecting the temperature. The heating symbol will flash while the curler heats up. It will stop flashing and you will hear a "beep-beep" when it reaches the selected temperature. Hope it helps.
