Answer:	Hello, it's a "hair straightener", so it's straightens the hair! Cord won't "curl" as well! I never tried to curl my hair with it! For "curling the hair" look for a different product!

But if you have a soft, long-bristled brush (maybe something like a paint brush) you can probably use that to brush out any left-over debris.

My daughter is biracial with very long and very curly hair and this has been the best product for her hair.
