Wood products ordered 'unfinished' do not come with a warranty. You must do as the others have suggested oil it often and you will not have any problems. Its starts to crack once it becomes to dry. So have to oil it regularly but not too often that will also mess the board up.

Answer:	I found this online about bamboo and cutting boards in general: “ Bamboo resists retaining water and as a result, will not warp or crack as easily as normal wood. That said, it's not recommended to put a bamboo board (let alone any cutting board) in a dishwasher due to the extreme heat.” hope that helps

Answer:	John Boos will not provide the 1 year manufacturer warranty if they ship an unfinished top. It is because butcher block requires a finish and once it leaves the plant they cannot be certain a customer will finish it in a timely manner. Answer:	These slanted sides are designed for easy grip, same function but more beautiful than the carved side handles. :)

Answer:	It is quite heavy, and has stood up well so far- had it about 3 months. It does need regular oiling or it will start to crack.

Answer:	We've never had a problem with uneven wear on a cutting board. But, if becomes an issue, I imagine it can be sanded down. We reserve our wood cutting board for fruit and vegetables because of concerns about bacteria. For meat, you might want to consider a plastic board. A plastic board can also harbor bacteria but is amenable to being cleaned in a dishwasher or with soap and hot water. We put a few plastic bumpers on the bottom of the wood cutting board to prevent water buildup between the wood and the granite surface, as water between the wood and granite can result in a buildup of mildew and black mold (unless you religiously dry the underside after each use).

Answer:	Dear Klunch, If your marble floor is rough, yhis is not the product for you. This is simply an excellent polish. It is my humble opinion, not physically seeing your floor, that your marble needs to be honed and polished. That is generally performed by a firm that comes in with buffing and honing equipment. I'd get several estimates and check with your local BBB before hiring the company to do the work. I hired a company without checking them out and ended up with machine ringlets everywhere. What a nightmare! So be certain to CHECK THEM OUT or get their references. Best of luck to you.

Answer:	And to everyone with granite and marble tops, do not use vinegar, bleach, amonia products or acidic foods or drinks on the countertops.use a cutting board or something. It will eat the sealer off of the face of the stone. For people who have theat problem already, buy some good sealer and reseal the countertops. Put 2 coats on it. That will help it tremendously. Then use Italian Craftsman to polish it one it's been sealed. That should get the shine back to the surface. At least 95% of it. Use the polish 1-2 times a week to help it stay rejuvenated. Use a soapy rag when your done doing the dishes to clean the countertops or buy some, made for natural Stone, cleaner.

Answer:	I would carefully remove the hard water deposits 1st if you can. if it's granite or Quartzite, then yes the hard water can be removed with a cream cleaner for hard water. then yes you can apply the MB-20 using a 600 rpm polishing machine with water making a slurry and then going to a dry surface moving the machine quicker. Now, if the surface is Marble then i would use a marble polishing compound.

Answer:	The bottle specifically states "do not use on floors, may be slippery". That being said, you can imagine how nicely polished your granite countertops will be! I use this exclusively, about 1 a month or so and buff it up to a nice shine. I think you will be pleased if you have a need for this on your countertops. Sorry it can't be used on floors.

Does this product contain animal hairs? Im confused

Answer:

I have used this in my bathroom on the granite countertops since 2008, and my countertops still look perfect. I have granite around the sink area, too, so it does get a little wet there. My granite is mainly black with some white and bronze. When it gets dulled out, I use this on the entire countertop, and it always brings it back to life. I usually apply it like you would a wax, and then I let it sit for a few minutes and wipe it off. You will see a little bit of a dull finish, but don't worry. Use a soft towel and buff it out by hand. You will really see the shine. My granite installer is the one who told me to use this, and I love it. I use it in my kitchen, too.

Answer:	No it will not work. I have a 10 inch and saw a 9.5 and thought it would fit not. So to answer your question no it will not fit.

Answer:	You can use it for either, but there is another bonnet; WEN 10324 that is vinyl backed to prevent the polish/wax from soaking through to the pad on the orbital polisher. I use the vinly backed for applying polish and the 100% cotton to remove.
