Question:	What is the maximum temperature that these rollers will achieve? I see that the regular conair rollers will get to 390 degrees. Do these get that hot
Answer:	The edges of these curlers do get pretty darn hot. If you handle them carefully on hair long enough to prevent the edges from touching your scalp, there should be no problem. I would not advise using them on children or anyone with reduced sensitivity to heat.
Question:	These clips?? has Conair offered a set of clips to hold the rollers in your hair? One move and they are on the floor. #failBADLY
Answer:	I called Conair when I had the same issue. They sent a pack of clips but they did NOT fit these rollers! They sent the metal U shaped clips used for years for hot rollers. Nothing I did made these rollers stay in my longer than shoulder length course wavy hair! I sent the set back!!!

Answer:	I gave my sister a set for her birthday. Her hair is shoulder length and thin. They work for her very well and she was so appreciative of the gift. They add volume to her hair and her hair looks great; no curls, just soft waves. Hair products have a lot to do with it. We use a small amount of Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Wild Ginger Hydrocream Whip right before setting our hair. After we let the rollers out, we do not disturb hair for a few minutes (per roller directions). Then, we treat with a small amount of Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Wild Ginger Styling Treatment Oil. Have fun with your hair. Note: I did get her the Conair SPC10X Super Clips Perp, because of her shorter hair. I do not need them, I manage without them.

Answer:	Instead of putting the clip on from under the roller, put the clip straight down from the top of the roller after you have rolled it tight to the scalp and put the top of the clip right against scalp. This works even with my shorter hair.

Answer:	My hair is crazy thick and naturally very wavy and frizzy in the humidity. I swear by these hot rollers and have used them since middle school (I’m 30). They work best if you blow out your hair with a round brush then immediately use the hot rollers with a spray gel (herbal essence spray gel, teal bottle). 5-6 rollers straight back - I do the first by my face with a thick roller and the bottom piece at base of my neck with the thick one) then 3 on each side of my head. Thick one by the face and then 2 of the smaller ones behind it. Keep in for 10 min for looser curls, 20-30 for longer stay. Take out, toss your head over and run fingers through the scalp part to loosen at the base, and then add gloss! My curls last 5-6 days cause I have very dry hair (unless it’s the dead of summer then typically 4 days cause humidity - my nemesis ). Enjoy!!!!

Answer:	There are no switchs on this unit, it is just a heating element. On the bottom label it states that it is rated for both 110 and 220. If you are going to use it with 220 make sure to not to use a transformer unit, just use an adapter plug. On 220 it will heat up much faster.

Answer:	Nacy they do get hot. I have naturally wavy curly hair and when I have used them they do hold a curl. It depends upon how long you leave the roller in and what condition your hair is in. You can always use hairspray to hold the curl after you take out the roller. For myself I have used the rollers without hairspray. They have added the curls or waves where I wanted them to. I have curling irons, round brushes, heated brushes and various other hair appliances. This set however is my go to for solid curls or waves. I hopes this helps you. This is great if you want to put the curlers in heated and you have other things to do. You know multi tasking.

Answer:	The rollers are a decent size, but unfortunately they are at my other house. I can measure them when I go back in about 9 days and tell you then. I do prefer the larger ones and wish they were all that size. They are great curlers, and I wanted them for travel and they work very well on my long hair. I would recommend them.

Answer:	I've had this set for years and have used it in a number of European countries. I was told that the converter is internal and doesn't need a voltage switch. It automatically converts when 220 voltage is used. The first time I plugged it into a 220 outlet in Europe, I held my breath, but no problem. It worked fine. You do need an adapter plug but no converter. My set has lasted for years but finally stopped working. I came here to buy another one and saw this question so thought I would share my experience.
Question:	For use in Europe, do you need adapter and converter together, or just the adapter? There is no voltage switch even though it states "dual voltage
