Answer:	They are plastic, not like a brush.
Question:	I have a short Bob..will this work to add body and height
Answer:	I have short layered hair that I am growing out into a short bob. While I cannot guarantee your results, it does add body and height without the over curling of a regular curling iron. I got the 1 1/4 inch size so that it would be larger to add body without curl. Obviously some well-placed mousse or styling gell (directly on the roots) helps as does drying hair with your head upside down and then using this styling wand to, ironically, calm it down into the shape you want after. Question:	can you touch the bristles without getting burned
Answer:	the bristles are not hot, the metal strips between the bristles is what gets hot. you can wrap your hand around the bristles and not get burned, but be careful not to push your finger tips through the bristles and touch the metal strip, it will burn.
Question:	How is this size for fine, thin, short hair
Answer:	Wouldn't recommend it for very short hair go with the smaller barrel size for short hair. I have layered shoulder length hair and very fine and it's great. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Mine is 300 watts and doesn't have nearly the drying/styling power that my old one did. That one was 1000 watts! It still worked, but the old one had plastic and boar bristles on the large brush and the boar ones were getting out of shape.

Question:	Are the bristles soft? I have thin fine hair and need volume
Answer:	Yes, the bristles are soft but I think a better description is that they are flexible. That's why they work so great on baby fine hair - they grasp the hair gently. So many of the other air brushes have very stiff, almost harsh bristles and they tear the hair and scratch your scalp. These don't. Have been using this air brush for years and have never had any problems with it. I just ordered another one as a back up - - just in case!

Answer:	No, this one doesn't. I bought it because I thought it did. I disagree with others. Maybe because my hair is thin and fine, but my hair never gets tangled in the rotating dryer/styler. I think they are the best. I'm disappointed because this is the size brush I wanted.

Answer:	Rufus must be a hair stylist because your hair should always be about 85% dry before you start to style whether you are using a blow dryer and brush or an all in one tool like this. The reason so many women find it difficult to achieve great styling results at home is because they start with their hair too wet. Professional hair stylist always dry the hair 80-85% before they start styling it, it not only saves you a lot of time and trouble, but if you don't dry the hair at the root before you start styling your hair will either go flat or get frizzy (depending on your hair type) within an hour.

Answer:	Using appliances abroad can be confusing. The plug configuration is different AND the voltage is different. Unless you have an appliance that has a voltage converter built in, you have to have an adapter that will do both, not just a plug shape converter.I bought a world wide voltage converter to plug it into. They cost about $35.00. Make sure you get one made for using with hair dryer and other high voltage items.

The larger diameter brush has a metal core that gets hot to the touch so it dries more quickly than the plastic brush. It takes me about 15 minutes to style and dry.

Answer:	Thats a good question..what I have found is I had this one model number and it works and last years, then I found if you buy what looks like the same one but different model number they die fast, many others would say it in their review so in looking into it different models are made in different places and different parts etc..so this one model is the one that works best and last years BC171NCSR....not others that look like it or say BC171NCS or any other combo...its the BC171NCSR and the color is Black with Blue. Dries your hair also gives it shine and no static and lots of body to the hair and I have never had the motor burn out on this model but I replace them because the teeth do break off after a few years..I think this model came out at least 10 years ago and anything since I have bought does not compare to this model or dryer, its so much easier too than using a heavy hair dyer and a brush this has the dryer and brush and takes less time to dry hair and not as heavy...price here on amazon is the best I found...only thing when I ordered two here they sent me one of the blue and my model and another model that was a different color so amazon took care of it right away they are great, the prices are best and the shipping if fantastic... :)

Answer:	You maybe thinking that the brush spins automatically. It does not. You use the brush just as you would were you using a blow dryer and a round brush. Except with this you only use one hand to curl/style hair. So quick release is not an option. It is all manual.

Answer:	It didnt come with it but that is a great idea. I have to round brush my bangs separately.

Answer:	I owned the Revlon one also and this one is not nearly as loud. This one also doesn’t get scorching hot like the Revlon one. I threw my Revlon one away!

Question:	Every time I put in a search for "Steam" hair rollers this set pops up. Can you add water for steam to this set
Answer:	Search for Caruso steak rollers. I think that’s what your looking for.
Question:	Does this set come with roller pins/clips? If so, how many
Answer:	It comes with the pins....I like the pins much better...my old set had the clips and they leave imprints in your hair...the pins don;t do that..
Question:	My hair is waist length and pretty thick. Has anyone with hair like this had much success with these
Answer:	My hair is crazy thick and naturally very wavy and frizzy in the humidity. I swear by these hot rollers and have used them since middle school (I’m 30). They work best if you blow out your hair with a round brush then immediately use the hot rollers with a spray gel (herbal essence spray gel, teal bottle). 5-6 rollers straight back - I do the first by my face with a thick roller and the bottom piece at base of my neck with the thick one) then 3 on each side of my head. Thick one by the face and then 2 of the smaller ones behind it. Keep in for 10 min for looser curls, 20-30 for longer stay. Take out, toss your head over and run fingers through the scalp part to loosen at the base, and then add gloss! My curls last 5-6 days cause I have very dry hair (unless it’s the dead of summer then typically 4 days cause humidity - my nemesis ). Enjoy!!!!
Question:	What is the difference between this model and the newest XTreme heat jumbo and super jumbo rollers
Answer:	I don't know what the difference is, don't have the newest XTreme heat jumbo.. etc. Won't buy another Conair product after my experience with this one.
