Answer:	The one point to consider is that the brush is quite large. If your hair is very short I'm not sure how you would build volume if you are unable to wrap brush around hair. I love this dryer but you may be better off looking at dryer brushes (and there are plenty) that are similar in size to a curling iron. At least you would have a chance of building volume. Cheers

Answer:	This same thing happened to me. Had it for 8 months and had just used it, maybe 12 times. I called the manufacturer (Amazon provides that information), told them what happened and they sent me a new one. I called on monday and today (friday) it came in. It took only 4 days!! :D Just make sure to have your dryer at hand when you call.

Answer:	I'm going to guess you might have wanted to know how much wattage this dryer has ie how much "blow power" it has. I looked high and low for this information because if this was going to be a styling tool with 4-500 watts of power it was going to take 5 days to dry my hair and I didn't want it. I finally found the information on a hardware store sight of all places and they listed the wattage as 1100 watts. That seems about right. It is quite powerful and dries my curly hair smooth and bouncy quite quickly as long as I do sections of hair at a time. I have no explanation why Revlon does not list the watts on the pamphlet or on the actual unit so no fault to Amazon. It might have been on the box but I've since thrown it away. Women need to know if there is a little stream of air blowing, a full force dryer or something in between. I'd say this is in between but blows really well. I love this and if you've been using other blow style round brushes this will be the best one you'll ever own. There is a great U tube video where a girl with a bob demonstrates how to use it and I found it very helpful, including how to hold the unit top and bottom and roll roll roll to get gorgeous results. Answer:	I have a chin length graduated bob, may hair is very wavy (borderline curly) and very frizzy. I got the rounded brush and it works awesome. Question:	How can I get the attachment to stay on
Answer:	Actually the two attachments (combs) can stay strongly on the styler by sliding it onto the styler. However, the bristle head is really too wide to stay long enough. That is my experience with it. What I tried to do is to do it slowly and carefully and mostly tend not to use the last attachment because of this but i guess this is not what you should be doing with your styler it should be easier to use all the attachments.

Answer:	I purchased this hair dryer and returned because it was too loud. To me it sounded like I might have gotten a damaged dryer. Instead I bought the conair 1875 ionic lightweight dryer, which is not as loud and doesn't sound like its malfunctioning. The 1875 lightweight works well. There is probably a quieter version of a hair dryer, just don't know which one. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Absolutely-yes it will. Hands down the best I’ve used. The teeth are designed to grip and hold the hair ‘taut’ as you pull the dryer down the section of hair-that really helps it straighten the hair. What you need to do is: do a section of hair that is not quite as wide as the teeth area so that it grips all the hair from the root. Hold it in that ford section for a couple of seconds. Then slowly make your way down the hair. Sometimes I go down to next section-count 5 seconds...down next section hold 5 seconds... on my first time down the hair. Second pass I go very slow and steady down the hair. It will work on African American here. I’m African American, I own Vamp Boss- we make and sell luxe natural and organic grooming products for hair. And I always tell my clients about this. I never use a flat iron or hot comb when I style with this. Also Works great if you need to do a end of week touch up on your blowout. Mist the section lightly, add light hair butter or serum, and pass the hot style down each section. -Iset

Answer:	Yup. The heat (cold, warm, hot) and the speed (low, medium, high) are two separate settings/controls. In addition to the regular controls, there is a separate cool shot button you can press while using a hot setting that gives you a shot of cold air while you hold down the button (and when you release it, it goes back to hot).
Question:	How to remove the filter? Seems tight
Answer:	TWIST IT OFF ~ DO NOT SNAP IT OFF! I used a 'grip cloth' for opening jars and just TWISTED the filter cover to the LEFT; it came off easily. To put it back on securely repeat the steps, but TWIST it to the RIGHT. *There were no instructions and I considered 'snapping it off' as was suggested in one answer when I could not twist it off. DON'T = BREAKAGE!!!
