Answer:	The teeth are all the same size. They do not snag on hair and they do not hurt or irritate sores on the scalp. The comb is wonderful. The only problem that I can report is that one of the two combs that I received is slightly bent at one end, forcing me to use the other straight end. Not a big deal, but surprising.

Answer:	Pretty much yeah. Won't hurt to put a dash of shampoo in as well. Mind you I always use shampoo in my hair, but I've had no problem washing it out. I love it, and smells nice :)
