Answer:	This model appears to use velcro (?) or a hook on the strap that hooks the tube. I don't own this product, but the product images appear to confirm my guess. Other models use a slot and prevent the strap from falling out. They show this method as inconvenient, but not really sure. They also compare tires as if it matters. Not like you are taking this thing off road.
