Answer:	It would probably be better after. I have used both at the same time. Got good results everytime. For best results make sure you get the wave Tex kit and put it in.

Answer:	Use as often as needed. Look at your hair and see when it starts looking like wave holding product is building up in your hair and then wash with this shampoo to clean the product out.

It's worth trying.
