Answer:	I don't think it smells bad at all, smells more like herb/basil to me! Doesn't have a lot of lathering but it seems to have started to calm my psoriasis in conjunction with my diet!

I use this soap daily for all kinds of cleaning and keep some in a smaller container greatly diluted with water because a tiny amount makes lots of suds and rinses better than other soaps.
