Answer:	This product does contain silicone. Any ingredient ending in “cone” is a type of silicone”. Stay away from ALL silicones because they are not water soluble, meaning they create a build up on the hair, which keeps the hair from being able to absorb moisture and nutrients from a deep conditioner (without silicones of ANY kind), and hair mask, for example.
