Answer:	I think the product you are talking about is the one with spout. A cap has to be taken off and tip cut with razor or scissors. Then put small cap on. Or it will easily spill. I didn't use that one as much cause I got shampoo used all the time, the conditioner put on when in shower, then rinsed out when done we its shower. The 2 heavy creams put on occassionalky. My hair is fine, do some left me feeling too weighed down and without body. Heavy creams allowed me to style with just comb as I didn't have dryer at the time. I Aldo say my doctor about 6 weeks after starting this treatment. Told I was biotin. Deficient. So between the black castor products &biotin, got my hair grown back in. Lost it after surgeries, stress from health situation and doctor said stress. Good luck.

I have fairly thick hair and I just put some product on my finger tips and rub in my palms then run through my hair roots to tips. You can always add a little more if needed. Always apply to wet hair with damp hands. This stuff is great. Will not leave hair weighed down or greasy. It make your hair soft and lets your curls come out. It has really helped my dry damaged hair. I get lots of compliments now on my hair.

Answer:	I read all the ingredients on the label and did not see that silicone was included. It truly feels luxurious when washing my hair with it.

Answer:	No. This is recommended for dry, damaged (curly but mine is wavy) hair. I would not use it on fine hair. I do not know about oily scalp.

Question:	I have braids, and i’m looking to for something to keep my scalp from itching. is this good for moisturizing my scalp? if not what should i look for
Answer:	I wash my hair first, then use my normal rinse out conditioner. After that I use a generous amount of the SheaMoisture. I finger it through my hair, concentrating on the ends. This product makes my hair easier to comb through, and ready for blow drying. I have dry, chemically treated, relaxed hair.

Question:	Hydrolyzed Keratin is listed as an ingredient, which seems to contradict their "cruelty free" claim. Is the keratin not sourced from dead animals
Answer:	They actually say they don't test on animals, and I'm assuming for cruelty you'd have to look to their source. If they are getting by products from the food industry for example?

Question:	does this work on straight hair
Answer:	I believe it would work great for wavy hair. I have 4C hair and it did not work well. However, after I permed my hair (which is not what I wanted to do) it worked better.

Answer:	Hi there! Thank you for your interest in Black Vanilla Moisture & Shine Hair Smoothie. HOWTO USE: Apply to your wet hair. Massage gently into your hair, especially the ends. Leave in your hair for 5 to 7 minutes and then rinse well. You can also use a plastic cap, and sit with your hair under a dryer for 10 to 15 minutes for a deep treatment. Use about once each week for the best results.
