| Answer: | I have normal, straight, Caucasian hair. I use only Aveda products on my hair. I go approximately every 3-5 days without washing my hair without signs of greasiness, which, I must admit, I’m grateful for! I’ve tried this product on multiple occasions to give my hair a “boost” of hydration only to find that it personally leaves my hair greasy and heavy even after a thorough rinse. Unless you truly have DRY hair, I would steer you in a different direction. I personally like the scalp benefits line if you have similar hair, as not only does it nourish my scalp and leave it from dryness and itching, it does what I had hoped the dry remedy line would. It’s my favorite conditioner by far and I highly recommend trying it. Buy a sample or travel size of the products first to be sure which works best for you so you don’t drop a chunk of money on the full sizes! Hope this helps someone! |

| Answer: | The Conditioner does contain Dipalmitoylethyl Hydroxyethylmonium Methosulfate. The shampoo contains Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate, but so far it hasn't dried out my hair. I switch off with other shampoos/conditioners that are sulfate free so I have only been using the Blue Malva Shampoo and Conditioner once or twice a week. It does not turn my grey/white transitioning hair purple, it brightens up the whites. I do not know the effect it would have on bleached hair. |
