Answer:	This product is far superior to any coal tar product. Since coal tar is now linked to skin cancer, you want to be careful.

Answer:	No, that is a separate product. The information I was given said to first use the salicylic acid shampoo for a while to soften the scales, then the coal tar shampoo.

Answer:	I'm not sure if it has a more concentrated acid content, but the MG217 is a good brand. Both their coal tar and salicylic acid topical ointments have worked for me. Patches that I have had for over 3 years have disappeared with those 2 ointments. Personally I didn't see as much progress with this shampoo as I do with homemade apple cider vinegar shampoos, but I did see some results. It did make my dandruff worse though. It would be worth a try because different people react differently to different solutions. Their other products have worked wonders for me.

Question:	Can i use a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner after
Answer:	I would use a moisturizing conditioner right after shampooing but I would not re-shampoo with another product immediately after shampooing with this product. The product will work best if you shampoo only with it and not another product to follow- allowing time for it to work (by not “washing” it out with another product). You can use this two or three times a week if you find it drying or harsh.
Question:	Someone said the Original formula doesn't work to relieve bumps on head, but how about this extra strength one
Answer:	It truly depends on what condition your scalp is in. I get bumps and they itch to become scaley. I found that the original with both shampoo and conditioner combined worked much quicker and relieved the itch. Patches of hair that I lost are growing back. Even with an expensive conditioner, this was rough on what hair I had. Hope that helps

Answer:	Just use it on your scalp and rinse the rest, then use a good conditioner for hydration in all your hair. I have dry curly hair and that's what I do and it works very well for me. Also you can do a deep conditioner once a week a leave it for a few minutes.

Answer:	I use it a part of my regiment for hair loss. I've been using it for 3 years. The active ingredient Ketoconazole (1%) works to suppress the androgen receptor which is part of the process of testosterone conversion to DHT and its destructive action on hair follicles. Answer:	I use a conditioner with this shampoo. This is the only shampoo I have found that actually gets rid of dandruff. That includes shampoos that my dermatologist has recommended.
